Are you a strategist or tactician?
Matt Palmer writes that strategists and tacticians are complimentary elements: the strategist plans while the tactician implements. When the company is small, planning is small and can be done by the tacticians. He believes a fair amount of company strife exists because tacticians are made strategists and micromanage or strategists are made tacticians and focus too greatly on The Big Picture but miss the minute details they're responsible for.Labels: good reading, management, strategy, tactician
