Actually, Joey's harm extends beyond the virtual world. In Captchas Are Harmful (hyperbole on full strength), he bitches that CAPTCHAs make his use of lynx difficult.Shut the fuck up.
While the largest numbers of CAPTCHAs are images of words/letters which are obscured using various techniques (so that machines cannot read them), audio CAPTCHAs exist for those who are visually impaired; there are picture CAPTCHAs which can be identified with braille displays, for those who are both sight and hearing impaired. One would think he'd know this, since he linked to the same Wikipedia article I have.
What's that? Is that the sound of Joey's bullshit caving in around him? Quick! Someone throw him a shovel. Make sure it's a CLI shovel or he'll refuse to use it.
