Wis. Cops Raid Give Breath Tests For Root Beer
Cops in Wausau, Wis. raided a party serving root beer to teenagers. You know, root beer, the soda nine-year old kids drink. They tested almost 90 kids for alcohol, found NONE. They looked all over the house for hiding teenagers, including closets. Found NO ALCOHOL. Police defended their actions:"If one kid had come there, even hadn't drank there, but had come there and had been drinking and had left and crashed and burned, then what would the sentiment be? Why didn't the police check everybody out?"They would've thought, "Man, I'm never going to let someone who drinks into my house where they can have soda. Fuck that. They should DRIVE SOMEWHERE ELSE."
Dustin Zebro, 18, said he staged the party after friends at D.C. Everest High School got suspended from sports because of pictures showing them drinking from red cups.Red cups, the universal sign for BEER.
