No, not fairness. The Law.
Dallas Police Chief
David Kunkle thinks it violates "fundamental fairness if people don't have the opportunity to know what they're being charged with". Really. Those of us who've got a brain think IT VIOLATES THE FUCKING SIXTH AMENDMENT TO THE CONSTITUTION.
This guy isn't a small town douchebag police chief who doubles as the undertaker. This is a big town douchebag police chief who runs on the of largest metropolitan areas in the United States.
Does anyone feel safe in a city where the police chief doesn't know the amendments to the U.S. Constitution? Or where the media doesn't call out such a fucker?

Who flips out if they can't get a Whopper?
Burger King has a new string of television commercials where they pretend they discontinued the Whopper and the fat, lazy Norte Americanos freak the fuck out 'cause they can't get their daily intake of heart blockage.
If it were me, I'd express surprise and then ORDER SOMETHING ELSE.
But what the fuck do I know? I don't eat fast food. Not exactly top tier beef. More like Corky from Life Goes On beef.

Strategists and Tacticians Labels: management, qotd, strategy, tactician
Are you a strategist or tactician?
Matt Palmer writes that
strategists and tacticians are complimentary elements: the strategist plans while the tactician implements. When the company is small, planning is small and can be done by the tacticians. He believes a fair amount of company strife exists because tacticians are made strategists and micromanage or strategists are made tacticians and focus too greatly on The Big Picture but miss the minute details they're responsible for.
